The Journal of Modern Hellenism
Established in 1984 by Harry J. Psomiades, the Journal of Modern Hellenism will remain an annual peer-review scholarly journal which has been published online since 2014. It is now a joint publication of The American Hellenic Institute Foundation (AHIF) and the Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies (Queens College, CUNY) and is available online. It publishes essays dealing with the history, institutions, and culture of modern Greece from its origins to the present. This includes studies of Greek America and other Diaspora communities. The international outreach of the JMH has been enhanced with the establishment of associate editors in Greece, Cyprus, and nations that have vibrant Greek communities. An archive of prior issues is available online through Simon Fraser University at: http://journals.sfu.ca/jmh/index.php/jmh/issue/archive
Beginning with volume 35, 2023, that is dedicated to the memory of Dan Georgakas, the JMH will be available gratis through the American Hellenic Institute Foundation website.
